Mumbai: India’s benchmark S&P BSE 100 index displayed notable volatility during the mid-morning trading session on Wednesday, April 17th, ultimately trading slightly in the red.

As of 10:43 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), the S&P BSE 100 index stood at 24,545.35. This marked a minor decline of 9.26 points, representing a decrease of 0.038% for the trading day so far.

The index is currently trading below its previous closing level of 24,554.61.

Intraday price action, as seen on the 1-day chart, shows a significant dip after the market opened. The index opened at 24,525.63, fell to an intraday low of 24,423.87, and subsequently staged a recovery to reach a high of 24,550.20. The current level reflects this partial rebound from the morning lows.
