Ford Appoints Former Twitch, PlayStation, and Lululemon Executive Mike Aragon

Ford Motor Company has announced the hiring of Mike Aragon, a seasoned executive with experience at Twitch, PlayStation, and Lululemon, to lead its digital services division. Aragon will oversee the development and marketing of digital services across Ford’s core business units: Ford Pro (business and fleet services), Ford Blue (passenger vehicles), and Ford Model e (electric vehicles).

With over 800,000 paid subscriptions already in place—including services like the hands-free BlueCruise driving system and fleet management software—Ford aims to expand its footprint in the growing market of automotive digital services.

Ford CEO Jim Farley emphasized that Aragon will play a pivotal role in building upon the company’s early successes with integrated services. Farley highlighted Aragon’s extensive track record in helping major hardware companies create valuable digital ecosystems—an experience Ford believes will be instrumental in shaping its future strategy.

Aragon steps into a role previously held by Peter Stern, the former Apple Services vice president who played a key role in developing Apple’s subscription services, including Apple TV+, Fitness+, and News+. Farley had previously praised Stern’s expertise, noting that subscription-based services have become massive revenue generators for tech giants like Apple.
