During his inaugural season with the Tigers, Shilo recorded 39 tackles, seven pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and four interceptions, earning second-team all-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) honors. In 2023, he transferred to the University of Colorado, joining his father and brother, Shedeur Sanders.
